About Me

My makeup journey began long before it became my career. I’ve been working professionally as a makeup artist for over 15 years, but my love for makeup started when I was just 10 years old… backstage in a musical, holding my very first makeup kit. I was a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz at Towson University, armed with a Mehron theatrical palette, and I was instantly hooked. That moment sparked a lifelong passion.

As a teenager, I immersed myself in makeup education. I watched YouTube tutorials when the platform was brand new, practicing on friends for proms and dances, and filming my own videos to sharpen my skills. Makeup wasn’t just something I loved; it was something I had to do.

My professional makeup journey officially began while I was in college. I had just earned my associate’s degree and was preparing to attend orientation at Towson University, but I knew in my gut it wasn’t the path for me. The day of orientation, my stepfather noticed how upset I was and asked what was wrong. I told him I wanted to be a makeup artist instead of continuing college. He asked what I needed to make that happen. I told him I needed a few hundred dollars to build my makeup kit. He handed me the money that day and that moment changed my life.

With that first kit, I said yes to everything. I took every job I could: body painting, photoshoots, weddings, fashion shows, television, film, advertisements, and commercial work. I built my career from the ground. I learned through experience, documenting my work, investing in my education, and continuously refining my craft.

That dedication paid off. In 2020 and 2021, I was honored to be named Baltimore’s Best Makeup Artist by Baltimore Style Magazine. More importantly, I built a career I truly love… one rooted in creativity, connection, and confidence.

To deepen my understanding of beauty at its foundation, I became a licensed esthetician, graduating from Von Lee International School of Aesthetics in 2018. Skin is the canvas, and great makeup starts with great skin. This advanced training allows me to create results that are thoughtful, long lasting, and skin focused.

I currently work at One Wellness Spa in Frankford, Delaware, where I specialize in Korean skincare and customized facial treatments, blending advanced skincare techniques with a deeply restorative experience.

Beyond makeup and skincare, I am also a Pilates instructor at Right Balance Pilates. Wellness is at the core of everything I do. I am passionate about helping people feel confident not only in how they look, but in how they feel…mind, body, and soul. Movement, skincare, and makeup are all forms of self-care, and when approached intentionally, they create meaningful transformation.

Outside of my professional work, I’m an avid thrifter with a love for personal style and sustainable fashion, curating and selling secondhand pieces through my shop on Poshmark. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my amazing and endlessly supportive husband, Justin, and our sweet girl labradoodle, Kovi.

Originally from Baltimore, I now live in Ocean View, Delaware, just over the Maryland line. I travel for my clients and events. In addition to makeup services, I teach both group and private makeup classes, sharing my knowledge with clients and aspiring artists alike.

Makeup has given me a career, a community, and a creative life I’m deeply proud of. I bring that passion, experience, and whole-body approach to every client I work with. :)
